The SJ Father & Son Badminton Tournament 2025 was a great success, bringing together families and community members for two exciting evenings of competitive badminton. The tournament took place over two Fridays at Aldenham School, creating an energetic and welcoming setting for players and spectators alike.
With a great turnout across all age groups, the courts were alive with action from start to finish. The competitive nature of the matches was evident throughout the tournament, with father-son pairs giving their all in every rally while maintaining a strong spirit of respect and sportsmanship. The standard of play was impressive, making for closely fought matches and an engaging experience for everyone watching.
More than just a competition, the event celebrated the unique bond between fathers and sons. Playing side by side over two evenings allowed pairs to grow in confidence, teamwork, and communication, highlighting the positive role sport plays in strengthening family relationships.
The tournament was divided into three age categories, ensuring fair and enjoyable competition for all participants:
