SJ Basketball had its inaugural session almost 2 years ago in March 2022 and the team always had big plans for the sport. Realising that basketball can serve as a way to bring together communities and foster brotherhood, the team has now planned its first ever 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament.
Partnering with WF Aid, SJ Basketball will have all proceeds of this tournament go towards the WF AID Emergency Appeal in Gaza. By coming together as a community to play basketball, we can play a small part in helping our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
The 3 on 3 Tournament is open to all gents from ages 12+. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran at the game, all skill levels are welcome. It will be a full day of pure basketball (and banter that comes along with the game) – Group Play, a 3-Point Contest, Knockout Stages, and Finals. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and the winners will leave with the coveted trophy and bragging rights for a year!
The tournament will be held on Saturday, 17th February at St. Helen’s School in Northwood
