We are excited to announce that after a hiatus of a few years, the SJ Mahe Ramadhan Sports night is back this year. We will Inshallah be hosting a Football & Badminton Tournament during the Holy Month, the primary aim of which is to support and raise awareness for the WF-AID’s Ramadhan Relief Appeal, dedicated to assisting those in dire need in Gaza.
The tournament will be held on March 23rd at The Harrow Leisure Centre. The event will run from 10:30 PM to 2:00 AM on March 24th. THE TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO SJ MEMBERS ONLY (2024 Membership will have to be paid up to be considered for selection)
Participating in this tournament not only provides an opportunity for socializing with community brothers but also contributes to raising funds families in Gaza.
The goal of the tournament is to unite the community during the Holy Month of Ramadhan, fostering social connections and promoting the benefits of staying active through competitive sports.
Both the badminton and football tournaments will have a ‘Community Cup’ atmosphere. Sign-ups are individual, and for badminton, participants will be paired with another member. In football, teams will be organized by our expert community cup organizing committee.
Your involvement in this tournament ensures not only a social gathering with community members but also an active role in supporting the WF Ramadhan Relief appeal and its work in Gaza.
We anticipate continuous community support through attendance, donations, and encouragement.
Sehri will be served during the tournament. For those interested in coming to spectate and socialise please fill out the link below so we can cater for your sehri.
