We are delighted to announce the Teams that will represent Stanmore Jafferys at MAMT 2025.The tournament will be hosted by Hyderi Sports Association, at Crystal Palace sports centre on the weekend of 18th/ 19th October.
Selection as always has been based on talent, ability, attendance, and commitment over the past year. We have selected the teams to give Stanmore Jafferys the best possible chance of success, whilst at the same time looking towards the future of the club and ensuring our up-and-coming youth players get a chance to showcase their talent and get to experience Tournament level Volleyball.
We are also delighted to confirm that we have been able to select a Legends team that will represent us in the open tournament, bringing back some of our revered players back in the fold, as always it will be a pleasure to witness their performances on the court and they will be hoping to rewind back the years and make a deep run in the tournament,
In addition to the above, we have also been able to select an exclusive ‘Over-50’s’ team that will participate in the Over-50’s tournament that will be held on the Sunday (19th October) only. We can not wait to witness their performances and to see the on the court again together with the Over-50’s from the other communities as well. A shout-out to the CoEJ Sports Board for facilitating this dedicated tournament over the weekend.
We encourage the community to come down to support the teams and enjoy the Baraza that we are sure will be in full force over the duration of the weekend.
Inshallah as we have done over the last few years, we are confident of bringing the trophies home. Teams have been selected by the VB Selection Committee and signed off by SJHQ.

KITS:
If you have been selected and don’t have the Green & Black SJVB Kit (and not ordered one as per the communication last week) – please ensure you speak to Tauseef Kanji before Friday 3rd October so we can make the necessary arrangements.
ALL players are requested to wear the correct kits over the tournament weekend.
