Following the departure of Imran Mamdani as Head of SJ Cycling, we are pleased to announce that Sajjad Meghjee will now be leading the cycling activities for the club.
Sajjad has been cycling for many years and frequently cycles to work in the city and has recently begun to race in local racing events.
Having being a participant of SJ Cycling including providing support in prior SJ Cycling teams challenges, he looks forward to keeping the wheels turning.
The Cycling team are also delighted to announce the appointment of Zaheer Abbas Merali to the core team. Zaheer Abbas is an enthusiastic cyclist (and runner!) and has a long track record of supporting cycling within our community and developed the SJ Strava API. We welcome Zaheer Abbas and look forward to his continued contribution.
The cycling team very much look forward to the start of the 2023 cycling season.
