As you are aware, Stanmore Jafferys has completed its transition into a registered CIO and held our inaugural AGM as a CIO on 6th February 2022. With all trustees now onboarded, we are pleased to announce this year’s membership model.
As part of the revamp of the club, we have undertaken a review of our membership fee structure for our first year as a CIO. Since the onset of Covid, we have moved away from a subscription based model on the Gents side to a PAYG model, whereby members register and pay for a session beforehand. In order for members to be eligible to attend the weekly sessions, they are also required to pay a minimal Club Membership Fee. This fee also gives members access to various awards schemes that are exclusive to SJ Members ONLY. A full list of these awards will be published in due course.
On the Ladies side, we will continue to use the same PAYG model that has been used since the inception of the SJ Ladies Department.
Despite increasing venue costs (up to +40% in some cases) and decreased capacities, we have tried to keep weekly sessions at reasonable prices with minimal increases. These will be shared with the membership on the gents and ladies side respectively.
As we are now Inshallah moving into a first full year of activity since 2019, we have reviewed the General Membership Fees and revised these to ensure we continue to deliver a Five Star Service to all our members, which requires SJ to stand on firm financial footing, especially as we move into a CIO. Therefore the annual fee structure is as follows:

• BOYS (UNDER 16) £15
• SENIORS (OVER 65’S) £5
LADIES MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND COSTS
• LADIES ADULTS £20
• GIRLS (AGES 5 – 8 ) £ 10.00
• GIRLS (AGES 9-15 ) £ 15.00
• LADIES SENIORS (OVER 65’S) £5
