Dates, time and location
Padel is played on scheduled Wednesday evenings, the dates for which can be found on the SJ Padel WhatsApp group. There are two different sessions, an “Open” session and a “Competitve” session on alternate Wednesdays that take place from 20.30 to 22.00. The Open session is for all SJ members while the Competitive session is only for SJ box league players and booked by messaging the SJ Padel Coordinator. The cost of each session is £7 per player.

Please ensure you have paid your SJ membership on the portal BEFORE you book your session. If you are unsure of your membership status for the year you are strongly encouraged to check this with secretary@jafferys.org well in advance of sign up opening.
Sign-ups operate strictly on a first come, first serve basis. There are 12 places available for the session.
When there is an Open session scheduled on a Wednesday, the sign up link will always be sent after 8 PM on the Sunday before the Wednesday evening session on the SJ Padel WhatsApp group.
Waiting List
If all spaces have been allocated and a waiting list is showing, you are encouraged to complete the sign up process as places on the waiting list will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. No payment will be taken from you if signing up on the waitlist. If a space becomes available you will be notified by email and you will have a fixed period in which to complete payment and secure your place for the session. If you do not complete it within a certain time period, the place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
Refunds
SJ operates a strict no refund for cancellation policy across all its sports. In the event SJ cancels the session, all participants will be fully credited with amount paid, which can be used against the purchase of any future SJ session on the portal.
