While much of the world has come to a standstill, Stanmore Jafferys has continued to find fun ways to keep people connected. As the days leading up to what would have been MAMT 2020 were tinged with disappointment at the fact that the tournament would no longer be going ahead, SJ launched the Ultimate Lockdown Quiz-antine!
Planned and put together within 4 days by the SJ netball coordinators, this interactive online quiz relayed on Instagram Live & the Hujjat YouTube channel consisted of 30 challenging questions about MAMT, the Stanmore Jamaat, Stanmore Jafferys and world sport.
Hosted by the dynamic duo Ilyas & Samina Govani, the quiz drew in over 280 participants from across the globe from Mombasa and Dubai to Canada and the USA. After an hour of great banter, fact finding and fierce competition, our top 3 were crowned and will receive some fantastic prizes!
We would like to thank Br. Shahidali Khaki and the Hujjat AV team for their tireless work in providing us with the platform to enable us to reach out to our members during these challenging times and ensure that ‘Stanmore keeps playing, even from home’!
