On Sunday the 17th of October, Stanmore Jafferys welcomed Sheikh Asad Jafri to Harefield Academy.
The visit was a culmination of a 6 day visit to Stanmore by Sheikh with a view for future collaboration to enhance the community further.
During the visit, he had the opportunity to meet all the respective sports head and started to develop an understanding of the scale of the club and the opportunities availed to our adults and youths.
A short tour of the facilities allowed him to view our youth undergoing their training in their respective tiers and the visit was completed by an informal talk on the balance that sport brings to our generational community.
As a keen sportsman himself, Sheikh commented that Stanmore Jafferys was a very impressive setup, and the spirit of volunteering really shone through the organisation.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sheikh for his visit and we sincerely hope we can work cohesively and constructively together in the future.
