SJ Cycling update

Statement on behalf of Imran Mamdani & SJ Cycling

Cycling has always been a passion and my primary sport specially whilst riding with you all. Having served in various capacities as part of SJ Cycling for the last four years, of which the last two have been as the Head of Cycling, I feel it is now time for me to give a chance to a new face to take over and in turn enable me focus on my family and personal commitments.

My team and I would like to put on record our sincere gratitude to Stanmore Jafferys for giving us the opportunity to serve, our core sponsor Bullsmoor Dental, our partners Hujjat and WF-AID, and our numerous donors and supporters for their support throughout our term. Also, special thanks to the SJ Cycling membership for helping deliver the sport to our community.

Whilst my core team and I step down we would like to wish the next team all the very best.

There have been several moments and memories that we have created together, which we will cherish for years to come.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity and privilege to serve you. We hope to have met your expectations.

See you on the next ride,

Imran Mamdani

Statement from Stanmore Jafferys

On behalf of the SJ HQ, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Imran and his team for their service over the last two years. One of the core components within SJ has been delivering the Flagship AAWA Campaign over the last few years.

Imran and his team have been paramount & instrumental in delivering successful AAWA campaigns from both a sporting and fund-raising side. During Imran’s tenure we at SJ were able to widen the scope of the sportive from Cycling to now include Running & Walking now across both the Gents & Ladies memberships, thus delivering on the mantra #givingthroughsport.

Over the last four AAWA campaigns the club has raised over £350,000, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.

May Allah (SWT) abundantly reward the team for their efforts. Ameen

Stanmore Jafferys
