On 11 March 2020, representatives from SJFA, SJ and SJ Ladies attended a FA Asian Inclusion Forum at the Middlesex FA HQ in Northolt.
The Forum covered and included the following discussion points:
- Asian inclusion across The FA and its prople
- Raise Awareness of pathways into football for Asian communities
- Develop opportunities to increase across grassroots football
- Develop opportunities to increase Asian female participation
- Create more engagement and communication between FA and communities.
Throughout the forum, SJFA and its volunteers were called out as being in a class of their own and setting a benchmark of a well run Asian community football club.
The SJ Chair, Shafique Govani, also presented a case study on how SJ volunteers are the backbone to the success of the institution.
