World Champion & Record Holder Coach to Lead SJ Fitness Class on 8th March

Mohammed Rahim will be flying in from Singapore to host SJ Fitness on 8th March 2020.

Stanmore Jafferys are honoured to receive Mohammed Rahim, a former international runner who has competed in major marathons and track competitions around the world.

Amongst his achievements, he has trained and raced legends such as Mo Farah and Kenenisa Bekele ( current 5k and 10k world record holder).

He currently coaches over 2,000 Athletes in Singapore includes some national team runners.

Mohammed was a volunteer with Stanmore Jafferys before moving to Singapore for work in 2009.

Following is an outline of the session on 8th March:

  • this session will be a full workshop how to run like an Olympic athlete
  • you will learn fundamentals such as technique, strength conditioning and core
  • you will also learn what mental skills are needed to become the best athlete you can be
  • these techniques and drills will also help you in your work life by using the right posture and prevent issues in later life
  • if you get any pains from lower back, shoulder, foot, ankle, knee and hamstring fear not these are not death sentences but you can overcome them all using the right methods
  • you will also have time to practice these at the end (weather permitting) to go for a small run and practice these concepts
