Following the success of the previous Youth Mental Health First Aid Training, The Council of European Jamaats is pleased to present another YMHFA Training in Birmingham over two Saturdays: 14 & 28 September 2019.

Our Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training is for anyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. We train the adults in a young person’s life to have the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, they can speed up a young person’s recovery, stop issues from developing into a crisis, and ultimately save lives.

We hope that by giving people the tools to open up these conversations, we can empower them to create mentally healthy, supportive environments in their families, schools, youth groups and communities.

Date: 14 & 28 September 2019 (held over two Saturdays!)
Time: 10:00-18:30
Venue: KSIMC Of Birmingham | 17 Clifton Road | Balsall Heath| Birmingham | B12 8SX

Ages: 16 years and over

Cost: £50

• This is a non-residential program.
• Participants must attend both days for successful completion of training.
